Washington : On Friday, US President-elect Joe Biden appointed an Indian-American Mala Adiga as Jill Biden’s policy director. Earlier, Ms Adiga was director for Higher Education and Military Families at the Biden Foundation. She has even served as a Senior advisor to Jill Biden and a senior policy advisor on the Biden-Kamala Harris campaign. Even Mala Adiga served as the deputy assistant secretary of State for Academic Programs at the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs during President Barack Obama’s administration.
Ms Adiga is a graduate from University of Minnesota School of Public Health and the University of Chicago Law School. Also President-elect Joe Biden has announced the names of four ne members of his White House senior staff. Cathy Russell has been named as the director of the White House of Presidential Personnel and Louisa Terrel will serve as the director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs in Biden Administration. In a statement, Biden said that “The new addition will serve the American people and help build back better, creating a more just, equitable and united nation.
